Minipolo
General
Are you between 6 and 12 years old and do you enjoy swimming? Then you are very welcome to join DBD and have fun while playing sports together!During minipolo, children learn the basic rules and techniques of water polo in a fun and playful way. Training is a combination of fitness, ball skills and, of course, playing together, because water polo is a true team sport. Most importantly, we make sure that the children have fun. Our experience has shown that when children enjoy the game, their skills and performance naturally follow. The children do not yet play in a regular competition, but DBD participates in around six minipolo tournaments each season. These tournaments are organised by several clubs in the region, including DBD. These clubs work together to give the next generation of water polo players the opportunity to gain their first experience playing in matches.
Interested? Then be sure to come take a look at the ZIB on Thursday evenings from 6:45 PM to 7:30 PM. Be sure to bring your swimwear, because joining in is much more fun than just watching!
