General
At de Brabantse Dolfijnen, there is room for both youth and adults to play water polo. There is room to play recreationally, but competitive play definitely also takes place with the senior teams.
Interested? Then get in touch with our secretary or feel free to drop by during one of our training sessions. Be sure to bring your swimwear, because joining in is much more fun than just watching!

Youth Waterpolo
For the youngest kids, we have Minipolo. You need at least swimming diploma B to join, and there's no age limit. Besides training, they take part in small tournaments. From around age 11, you move up within DBD to the competition level. We take part in the GO12, GO16, and JO18.
The age categories for the competition are divided by two-year groups, namely:
- GO12: mixed under 12 years
- GO14: mixed under 14 years
- GO16: mixed under 16 years
- JO18: boys under 18 years
- MO18: girls under 18 years
Minipolo
In minipolo, the basics of water polo are taught in a playful way. As players move up to an older age group, the training becomes increasingly focused, giving them a solid foundation to progress to a senior team at the right level.

Seniors
De Brabantse Dolfijnen currently has three men's teams and two women's teams. There is a place for every player to train and play at their own level. The first team plays in the 2nd Division, which is a national competition, while the other teams play in a regional competition.
